I’m Petra — a communication and UX-oriented creative with a background in writing, research, editorial thinking, and administrative support across technical and project-based environments.
I’m particularly interested in storytelling, UX research, content design, and digital experiences that feel clear, meaningful, and intuitive.
A UX study project created after the Skillmea UX/UI Academy.
The Problem
Most café websites focus primarily on products, promotions, or fast-paced social experiences, while overlooking the emotional comfort and informational needs of more introverted visitors. People who are more sensitive to noise, unpredictability, or overstimulating environments often look for clear communication, calming atmosphere cues, and a sense of emotional safety before visiting a place in person.
This project explores how UX design and thoughtful digital communication can help create a more welcoming and low-pressure café experience for introverted users.
Research & Insights& Methods
The web is a crucial filter.
Uncertainty is the greatest enemy of introverts.
The atmosphere is more important than the menu.
A visual sense of space is key.
Predictability builds trust.
Peace is the common denominator, but it takes many forms.
The website should be simple, uncluttered, and clear.
Identify what stresses introverts in coffee shops and why

Identify digital features that would help introverts feel more comfortable

My master’s thesis was selected among the top three in Slovakia. Awarded for analytical depth, quality of writing and the relevance of the topic. With title „EU electromobility policy and its implications for the V4 countries“ the main theme of this thesis was the analysis of initiatives and policies published and implemented mainly by the European Commission in the field of electromobility in order to prepare EU countries to move away from cars with traditional internal combustion engines. The work also analyzed whether the transition to pure electromobility is more environmentally friendly than the internal combustion engines used so far, to what extent the charging infrastructure in the Member States is widespread and whether there is uniformity.
